Bio tubes

We try to limit a much as possible the impact of our industrial activity on our environment

• Limitation of the raw materials used in our products
• Recovery and reuse of all production waste
• Re-use of our packaging cartons in other chains
• Limitation of our solvent emissions
• Special reprocessing of all our used packaging

We are developing the production of Bio flexible tubes

Since the beginning of 2008, in collaboration with a machine-manufacturing partner, we have been performing tests on the production of tubes in Bioplastic materials.
The results are better than satisfactory, and our tubes have been exhibited at the Interpack08 salon in Dusseldorf.

We are currently producing D40x125 (100ml) tubes with the following characteristics:

• body in natural extrusion grade bioplastic (origin potato starch)
• collet in natural injection grade bioplastic (origin potato starch)
• offset printed decoration, "Biodegradable tube", UV ink , UV varnish finish: the inks and varnish are not biodegradable but are only a very small part of the total weight.
• D40 outer cap in white polypropylene - injection of the cap in Bioplastic presents no technical obstacle.
  

In parallel with our acquisition of know-how in this bioplastic transformation, we are performing tests on different current packaging in cosmetics, in collaboration with the packers
